Rome, 17 May (LaPresse) – Several stab wounds, at least 20, including at least four fatal ones to the throat and heart, caused violent bleeding that led to the death of Stefania Caboni, a 58-year-old woman killed in her sleep at her home in Fregene, in the municipality of Fiumicino, in the province of Rome. According to LaPresse, the medical examiner who performed the autopsy this morning determined that the stab wounds were inflicted with a 4 cm wide and very long blade, given the depth of the wounds, some of which were reactive. The woman may have moved after the first stab wound. Toxicology tests will be available in 90 days. It has not yet been possible to establish the time of death. Immediately after the crime, the victim's 31-year-old daughter-in-law, Giada Crescenzi, was arrested and taken to Civitavecchia prison, where she will be questioned on Monday 19th at 9.30 a.m.
