Milan, May 17 (LaPresse) – Clashes broke out between protesters and police in Milan during an afternoon demonstration against the Remigration Summit held today in Gallarate. The march, organized by left-wing activists, proceeded under the banner "Make Europe Antifa Again." In Via Leopardi, some protesters at the front of the march wore black helmets marked with a red star and, just a few meters from Cadorna Station, attempted to break through a police barricade set up in riot gear. Scuffles ensued, with police pushing back the demonstrators and using water cannons.
