Milan, May 20 (LaPresse) – AC Milan has requested €458,000 in damages as a civil party in the trial against ultras Francesco Lucci, Christian Rosiello, and Riccardo Bonissi, stemming from the Milan prosecutor’s large-scale investigation into the San Siro fan sections. According to LaPresse, the claim was submitted by lawyer Enrico De Castiglione following the sentencing proposals made by prosecutor Paolo Storari. The Rossoneri club requested the amount as compensation, or alternatively the payment of an advance pending a final assessment by a civil judge. The request was calculated by the club’s lawyers by adding material damages (such as unauthorized access to the stadium by individuals without proper rights) to reputational damage. If the claim is accepted, it would mark a turning point in cases involving football clubs and fan groups. The verdict is expected on June 17.
