Milan, May 30 (LaPresse) – Thirty years ago, the case was closed as a suicide: Manuela Murgia, a 16-year-old from Cagliari, was found dead in a canyon in Tuvixeddu, and it was believed she had taken her own life. Today, three decades later, Enrico Astero, now 54, who was the girl's boyfriend at the time, has been placed under investigation. He is accused of voluntary manslaughter. According to lawyer Marco Fausto Piras, who is defending Astero, an examination of the clothes the teenager was wearing when she was found is scheduled for June 4. The defense will participate in the forensic analysis with its own expert.
