Milan, 17 June (LaPresse) – Trace number 33 with Andrea Sempio's fingerprint is missing from the evidence collected at the Garlasco murder scene. This is what has emerged from the preliminary investigation being carried out by the Milan forensic police, in which experts appointed by the investigating magistrate and consultants for the defence and the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office have been working for hours to verify the correspondence between the reports on the delivery of evidence from which DNA is to be extracted for comparison and the objects from the villa in Via Pascoli contained in packages and boxes from the investigation. Trace 33 is plaster from the wall treated with ninhydrin to isolate the palm print that the Public Prosecutor's Office attributes to Sempio. It was “scraped” at the time of the crime from the second wall on the right of the stairs leading to the basement where Chiara Poggi's body was found. The print had already been analysed in 2007 and found to be free of blood. The test tube containing the scraped plaster was not found, probably because it was used up during the investigations that led to Alberto Stasi's conviction.
