Naples, June 29 (LaPresse) – The man who was driving the car that ran over and killed 16-year-old Luigi Petrella on Friday evening in Mondragone (Caserta) has been located and arrested. The young man was riding his scooter when he collided with the car driven by a man who fled without offering assistance, and later died at the Pineta Grande Hospital in Castel Volturno due to the severe injuries sustained. According to the Carabinieri’s investigation, the hit-and-run driver was a 53-year-old man, a convicted criminal and the brother of a witness in a justice collaboration case. He was located and arrested in Perugia. He will face charges of vehicular manslaughter.
