Rome, 4 July (LaPresse) – The death toll from the explosion in Rome has risen to around 50. Two people have been admitted to Sant'Eugenio hospital in critical condition, with burns covering 55% and 25% of their bodies. Among the injured are eleven police officers, one carabiniere, six firefighters and three Ares 118 operators, who were already working before the explosion and during the gas leak to secure the children at the summer camp located next to the LPG depot. The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation and ordered the seizure of the storage area and the service station.
