Rome, 21 July (LaPresse) – Aggravated stalking, bodily harm, unlawful interference in private life, defamation and false statements in her CV in relation to the organisation of events. These are the charges brought by the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office against Maria Rosaria Boccia, who today was notified of the conclusion of the investigation, a step that usually precedes a request for indictment. The investigation, launched after a complaint filed in the summer of 2024 by former Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano, is being coordinated by Deputy Prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini and prosecutors Giulia Guccione and Barbara Trotta. Last September, the Carabinieri investigative unit searched the woman's home, seizing computer equipment, including mobile phones. In March 2025, Boccia was questioned by the magistrates in charge of the case. Among those offended, in addition to Sangiuliano, are his wife and the former head of the Ministry of Culture, Francesco Gilioli.
