Milan, 22 July (LaPresse) – A patient with a confirmed diagnosis of West Nile virus is in intensive care and currently requires assisted ventilation. This was announced by the Local Health Authority of Latina in a statement. Four patients with confirmed diagnoses of neuroinvasive West Nile virus, admitted last week, are showing marked improvement and are in fair general condition. An 86-year-old patient with significant comorbidities remains in serious condition, although stable in recent days.
