Rome, 25 July (LaPresse) – Three workers died in a workplace accident this morning in Via San Giacomo dei Capri, in the Vomero district of Naples. The three fell from scaffolding due to an accident involving a hoist while carrying out renovation work on a six-storey building. Firefighters and police are at the scene. Operations to secure the area are underway. The accident occurred at number 163 Via Domenico Fontana, not far from the intersection with Via San Giacomo dei Capri, in the Arenella district. The three workers were on a mobile scaffold, carrying out maintenance work on the seven-storey building, when they fell. All three died instantly. Paramedics, firefighters and officers from the Naples Police Headquarters arrived at the scene and began investigations to reconstruct what happened.
