Milan, Aug. 14 (LaPresse) – A 69-year-old woman was found dead in Milan on Friday, August 8, drowned in her bathtub with a heavy vase placed on her abdomen. No house keys were found inside the apartment on Via Bisnati, in the Affori area, despite the door being locked. Firefighters were the first to respond after a call for assistance from the operations center. Finding the entrance blocked, they had to rappel from the roof and cut through the armored door to allow other teams and the Carabinieri, who are handling the investigation, to enter. The body was discovered at around 7:15 p.m. The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office is leading the investigation.
