Rome, Aug. 19 (LaPresse) – "The first 100 days of my pontificate have been a grace of God," said Pope Leo XIV while speaking to journalists as he left Castel Gandolfo. Prevost recalled his visit this morning to the Sanctuary of Mentorella, a place dear to Saint John Paul II. Finally, the Pope expressed his satisfaction with the periods of rest at Castel Gandolfo and his desire to return. Leo XIV departed for the Vatican shortly before 9 p.m., after greeting the faithful present. Tomorrow morning he will hold the Wednesday general audience.
