Rome, 20 August (LaPresse) – "Dearest Pippo, we wish for you to shine as a star not only in the firmament of men, as you already did, but even more brightly in the firmament of God. And in God's firmament, let us remember, one shines only through the active and concrete love we have lived." These were the words of the Bishop of the Diocese of Caltagirone, Monsignor Calogero Peri, at the start of the funeral service for Pippo Baudo in the church of Santa Maria della Stella in Militello.
