Vatican City (Vatican), 25 Aug. (LaPresse) – ‘We believe that freedom of the press must be guaranteed and that journalists should be able to do their job in the Gaza Strip.’ This was stated by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani after meeting Pope Leo XIV in the Vatican. The head of the Foreign Ministry added that there was no mention of the possible occupation of Gaza City by the Israeli army. Today, four journalists were killed following an Israeli raid on the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
