Milan, Sept. 2 (LaPresse) – Alessandro Impagnatiello poisoned Giulia Tramontano with "toxic administrations" of rat poison over several months, not because he had premeditated her murder, but because he wanted to eliminate the fetus she was carrying, which he "hoped would be suppressed." This is what the Milan Court of Appeal wrote in its reasoning behind the life sentence handed down to the former Armani Café bartender for the murder that occurred in Senago on May 27, 2023. The court excluded the aggravating circumstance of premeditation.
