Rome, Sept 17 (LaPresse) – A new arrest warrant has been issued for Francis Kaufmann, the U.S. citizen currently held in Rome’s Rebibbia prison following his extradition from Greece. Kaufmann was already accused of killing his daughter Andromeda, who was found dead on June 7 in Villa Pamphili, Rome, alongside her mother, Anastasia Trofimova. After the autopsy revealed signs of suffocation on the woman, the Prosecutor's Office has expanded the charges to include the aggravated murder of his partner. The new warrant, requested by the prosecutors and validated by Deputy Prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini, will now be formally communicated to the Greek authorities.
