Milan, 23 October (LaPresse) – ‘I am a murderer and a failure, I cannot explain why I did it’. These were the first words, uttered through tears, by Luigi Morcaldi during questioning by Milan public prosecutors Giovanni Tarzia and Leonardo Lesti for the murder of 62-year-old Luciana Ronchi. The 64-year-old is charged with voluntary manslaughter aggravated by the now-ended relationship. Contrary to what emerged on Wednesday, the two were never married.
