Vatican City (Vatican), 28 October (LaPresse) – No algorithm ‘can replace what makes education human: poetry, irony, love, art, imagination, the joy of discovery and even learning from mistakes as an opportunity for growth’. Pope Leo XIV writes this in his Apostolic Letter “Drawing new maps of hope”, which was released today by the Vatican. In the text, the Pope also calls for ‘strengthening the training of teachers, including in the digital field; enhancing active teaching; promoting service-learning and responsible citizenship.’ He then appeals to ‘avoid any technophobia.’
