Milan, 4 November (LaPresse) – A suspect has been arrested for the murder of Marco Veronese, the 39-year-old man killed in Collegno, on the outskirts of Turin, on the night of 23 October. According to a statement released by the public prosecutor's office headed by Giovanni Bombardieri, the suspect is “a person romantically linked to the victim's ex-partner, who, as mentioned, has confessed to the murder”. The investigation, conducted by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Operational Department of the Provincial Command of Turin and the Rivoli Company, has made it possible to reconstruct the arrival at the scene of the crime of the alleged perpetrator of the murder, “as well as his subsequent escape, using a vehicle whose route was tracked and reconstructed” by investigators, thanks to the acquisition and examination by the Carabinieri “of recordings from hundreds of public and private video surveillance systems”.
