Rome, Dec. 16 (LaPresse) – There will be no step back on the “open semester” reform, but the government is fully open to adjustments in how admission to Medicine works, considering a reduction in exam syllabuses, an extension of teaching periods and a longer interval between the end of courses and exam sessions, in order to guarantee more room for teaching next year. This is the line taken by Minister of Universities and Research Anna Maria Bernini after today’s meeting with the National Council of University Students (Cnsu. The more than three-hour discussion with students covered various topics, from relations with Israeli universities and research centres to funding for universities and scholarships, as well as the new programme for cadets at the Modena Military Academy at Unimore. The minister proposed to the National Council of University Students (Cnsu) the creation of a permanent working group on the reform of access to Medicine.
