Milan, 18 December (LaPresse) – Chiara Poggi's fingernails contain at least three male DNA samples from unidentified donors, and it is impossible to determine the origin of the traces, whether they come from contamination, direct or indirect contact, or artefacts. According to LaPresse, this was explained today in the courtroom during the preliminary hearing for the Garlasco murder by expert witness Denise Albani, who reiterated and clarified the conclusions of her report in response to questions from the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office and the defence. There are at least two partial, mixed and haplotypic (male paternal line) DNA samples from which the presence of Andrea Sempio as a contributor cannot be ruled out, but there is also a third result that excludes the shop assistant from Voghera, who is once again under investigation for the murder.
