Rome, 7 January (LaPresse) – Roman salutes at the “present” ceremony commemorating the Acca Larentia massacre in Rome. Today marks the 48th anniversary of the events in Acca Larentia when, in 1978, Franco Bigonzetti and Francesco Ciavatta were killed by far-left militants, and Stefano Recchioni died in the following days during clashes with the police. About a thousand militants gathered in front of the former Acca Larentia section to commemorate the three young men killed, repeating the phrase “For all our fallen comrades” three times, followed by the response with the “present” ritual.
