Naples, 11 January (LaPresse) – ‘In my opinion, I am now a wanted criminal. There are people who want to celebrate my conviction.’ These were the words of Andrea Sempio, interviewed on the programme Verissimo on Canale 5. ‘The absurd thing about this story,’ said Sempio, "is that it follows two paths: the legal one, which has actually been fairly straightforward, and then the media one, which has gone from TV to the internet to ordinary people. Fan clubs have been created and there is a group that has it in for me; I am a wanted criminal. There are people who want me to be guilty. In everyday life, I don't feel any hatred towards me, but on social media, there is a lot. There are people who want to celebrate my conviction."
