Rome, 21 January (LaPresse) – The magistrate of the Civitavecchia court has validated the arrest of Claudio Carlomagno, who confessed to the murder of his wife Federica Torzullo. The man, who therefore remains in prison, is accused of femicide and concealment of a corpse. ‘The argument’ between Claudio Carlomagno and his wife Federica Torzullo ‘arose over the issue of their son,’ explained Andrea Miroli, Claudio Carlomagno's lawyer, speaking to journalists at the end of the hearing to validate the man's arrest. “The separation was delayed and the fact that the separation could only be formalised by Federica, with the risk that she would be granted sole custody of the child, essentially led to the tragedy,” added the lawyer.
