Milan, 1 February (LaPresse) – Shootout between police and an unidentified man who stole a weapon from a security guard this afternoon after attacking her, firing several shots at a police patrol car that had responded to a report of a robbery. It happened around 3 p.m. in Piazza Mistral in Milan, in the Rogoredo area. According to initial reports, the police were alerted by the security guard who, while on his way to work, was attacked by a person who stole his weapon. Upon seeing the police car, the robber fired several shots at the vehicle. At that point, the officers returned fire, hitting the man, who was taken to Niguarda Hospital in critical condition.
