Milan, Feb. 11 (LaPresse) – “The probation request has been rejected, and, moreover, we had sincerely lost interest in this request given the fragmentation that had emerged in the procedural framework. It is a decision that changes nothing for us. The case files will now be returned to the Public Prosecutor, who will notify us of the 415-bis notice, that is, the notice of closure of the investigation, and then we will proceed on the merits and demonstrate that John Elkann did nothing wrong.” This was stated by Paolo Siniscalchi and Federico Cecconi, lawyers representing John Elkann, following the decision of the Torino judge who rejected the probation request.
