Milan, 17 February (LaPresse) – Four state police officers are under investigation by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office for aiding and abetting and failure to provide assistance in the investigation into the death of Abderrahim Mansouri, the alleged 28-year-old drug dealer killed by a gunshot fired by an officer on 26 January during a drug raid in the “boschetto” (grove) of Rogoredo. Prosecutor Giovanni Tarzia, who is coordinating the investigation with Milan Public Prosecutor Marcello Viola, had already entered the 40-year-old officer from the Mecenate Police Station in the register of suspects on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter, and in the coming days he will hear the new suspects after they have been notified to appear for questioning. The police officer under investigation for murder is also facing an investigation for forgery linked to the arrest of another alleged drug dealer in 2024, after Judge Maria Gaetana Rispoli, in her acquittal of the man in January 2025, forwarded the case file to the Public Prosecutor's Office to assess “any criminally relevant conduct” in the “arrest report” and in the subsequent report, which “contained numerous statements that do not coincide with what can be seen from the images of the surveillance cameras located in the areas of interest”.
