Milan, 27 February (LaPresse) – A tram on line 9 derailed at around 4 p.m. in Viale Vittorio Veneto, in the Porta Venezia area of Milan, ending its journey against a building. The initial toll from the accident is one dead, one seriously injured and 38 injured, of whom six are yellow and 32 are green. The tram was heading towards Porta Genova. At the moment, no people are reported to be under the tram. Three emergency vehicles, one nursing vehicle, ten ambulances and two maxi-emergency coordination vehicles are on site, in addition to fire brigade and police vehicles.
