Milan, 16 March (LaPresse) – Achille Lauro visited the young people still being treated at Niguarda Hospital this morning for injuries sustained in the New Year’s Eve fire at Le Constellation in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. On his social media accounts, the Lombardy Region’s Welfare Councillor announced Achille Lauro’s visit by posting a photo of the ward’s medical team. “After his performance at Sanremo, following that song dedicated to them, the young people who survived the Crans-Montana fire and are being treated at Niguarda Hospital expressed a wish: to meet Achille Lauro,” writes Bertolaso. “Today, my thanks go to a singer, but above all to a truly special young man. With his kindness and warmth, Lauro has brought a little joy to the hearts of those young people who have suffered so much, meeting not only the young people who have been discharged but also some parents, including those whose children are no longer with us. A special thank you also goes to Carlo Conti, who helped us organise the meeting. Thank you so much.”
