Milan, Mar. 17 (LaPresse) – A truck struck and killed a pedestrian today in Milan in Piazza Ovidio at the intersection with Via Mecenate. The accident occurred around 2:22 p.m.; according to an initial reconstruction, the pedestrian was crossing the street when hit by the heavy vehicle. The victim, not yet identified, was recently extracted by firefighters from Piazzale Cuoco who arrived at the scene. The municipal police and emergency medical services (118) were also present.
