Rome, Apr 2 (LaPresse) – “The medical commission appointed by the hospital management has confirmed the brain death of patient Roberto Arditti. Death has therefore been ascertained. Life-support measures are still being maintained, pending transfer to the operating room for organ retrieval, in accordance with the patient’s expressed wishes,” reads the bulletin from San Camillo Hospital in Rome. Arditti’s family “asks everyone to respect their privacy,” the hospital added.
