Rome, Apr 7 (LaPresse) – The Rome District Anti-Mafia Directorate has ordered the seizure of Mauro Caroccia’s cellphone. Caroccia, along with his daughter Miriam, is under investigation for money laundering and fictitious ownership of assets in connection with the 'Le 5 Forchette' company, in which former Deputy Minister of Justice Andrea Delmastro (not under investigation) also held a stake. Investigators now aim to analyze the device with a technical consultant, examining conversations and messages related both to the establishment of the Srl in December 2024 and the management of the restaurant 'Bisteccheria d’Italia' on Via Tuscolana in Rome. Caroccia has been definitively sentenced to four years in prison. Tomorrow, his wife will be heard. According to what Caroccia stated during the April 1 interrogation at Piazzale Clodio, the woman, together with their daughter, participated in the company’s establishment at a notary office in Biella on December 16, two years ago.
