Milan, 11 April (LaPresse) – The bodies of two women, a mother and daughter aged 82 and 50 respectively, in an advanced state of decomposition, were found by the SAF unit of the Milan Fire Brigade in a fourth-floor flat in a building on Via Rovani, in Sesto San Giovanni. The alarm was raised at around 5.30 pm by residents, who had been drawn to the flat since the morning by strong odours emanating from the property. After forcing open the front door, the fire brigade, together with the Carabinieri and paramedics from the 118 emergency service, confirmed the deaths of the two women. A post-mortem examination has been ordered on the two bodies to determine the cause of death.
