Milan, 5 May (LaPresse) – Andrea Sempio, under investigation for the murder of Chiara Poggi and summoned tomorrow to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Pavia for questioning, ‘will exercise his right to remain silent’. This was announced in a statement by defence lawyers Angela Taccia and Liborio Cataliotti. They explain that the decision was prompted by the fact that ‘the investigations are not yet closed and therefore the body of evidence to be addressed during questioning is incomplete, particularly given that the investigation file is not only incomplete but also not yet available for inspection’.
