Vatican City (Vatican), May 22 (LaPresse) – "I am certain that we are all particularly concerned about the potential consequences of the use of digital technology and AI not only on the physical and intellectual development of children and young people, but also on their spiritual well-being. In this regard, all people, but especially young people, 'should learn moderation and discipline in the use' of this technology, supported by the guidance of parents and educators. Furthermore, in light of the Church's mission and current misconceptions about God and the human person, digital literacy must also include education about the truth about God and humanity. Young people in particular are open to this truth and eager to discover the meaning of life. We must therefore help them meet the living Christ and teach them to integrate the use of technology into a holistic Christian lifestyle." Thus Pope Leo XIV receiving in audience the participants of the International Conference 'Guarding Human Voices and Faces'.
