Milan, 2 March (LaPresse) – ‘The terrorist organisation Hezbollah will pay a heavy price for firing on Israel, and Naim Qassem, Hezbollah's secretary general, who decided to fire under pressure from Iran, is now a target to be eliminated.’ This is what Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz wrote in a post on social media. ‘Those who follow Khamenei's path will soon find themselves with him in the depths of hell with all the members of the axis of evil,’ he added. ‘Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I have instructed the IDF to act forcefully against Hezbollah, continuing to pursue the main objective: to crush and defeat the Iranian terrorist regime and neutralise its capabilities, in Operation “Roar of the Lion”, in order to eliminate threats to the State of Israel and enable Iranian citizens to rebel against it and overthrow it.’
