This is what the Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio said in an interview with ‘Cinque minuti’ on Rai1. ‘The separation of careers exists in all democratic countries from the United States, to the United Kingdom, to Australia, New Zealand, etc., where the accusatory process that we introduced in 1988 at the behest of Vassalli, a silver medal winner of the Resistance, has been established. So I don't see where the offence of lese-majesty against the judiciary can lie’, he adds.
