Rome, March 26 (LaPresse) – This morning's meeting at Palazzo Chigi between Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Deputy Prime Ministers Antonio Tajani and Matteo Salvini, and Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, ahead of the Prime Minister’s participation in the Ukraine Peace and Security Summit scheduled for tomorrow in Paris, "confirmed that no national participation in any potential military force on the ground is planned." This was stated in a note from Palazzo Chigi, emphasizing that "the issue of implementing and monitoring the ceasefire was addressed, with a possible role for the United Nations emerging, which the Italian government has long supported."
