Rome, 28th March (LaPresse) – ‘From midnight, you can no longer apply for Italian citizenship under the old rules. From today, you become a citizen if you have Italian citizenship all the way back to your grandparents’. So said the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, during the press conference at Palazzo Chigi at the end of the Council of Ministers meeting.
