Government: the Council of Ministers begins at Palazzo Chigi, with the citizenship and immigration decree on the table

Rome, 28th Mar. (LaPresse) – The meeting of the Council of Ministers has begun at Palazzo Chigi. On the government's table, among other things, are three decree laws: the first with ‘urgent provisions regarding citizenship’, the second with ‘urgent provisions to combat illegal immigration’ (this measure is linked to the Albania dossier), the third with ‘further urgent provisions regarding the implementation of the measures of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and for the start of the 2025/2026 school year’. At the end of the meeting, a press conference will be held in the press room of Palazzo Chigi.
