Florence, 6 April (LaPresse) – ‘We will go ahead, on our stomachs, until the end of the legislature, to build a stable political system with the premierate and put the choice of who should govern back in the hands of the citizens, to free the judiciary from politicised currents with the justice reform, to guarantee the same levels of services to all citizens, regardless of the region in which they live, with differentiated autonomy’. So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in a video message sent to the Lega congress, currently underway in Florence. ‘And we will continue to defend the borders and fight mass illegal immigration, continuing with that work – patient, daily but determined – that has allowed us to drastically reduce the landings on our coasts,’ she added.
