Milan, Apr. 13 (LaPresse) – ‘I believe there is no reason to prevent a governor from running again when in Italy there are much more important posts that are renewable over and over again, from the Prime Minister, to ministers, to parliamentarians’. This was said by Attilio Fontana, president of the Lombardy Region, regarding the Consulta's rejection of Campania's regional law on the possibility of a third term of office at the helm of the region. An issue, that of the third mandate, which is allowed in the Regions with special statutes, but in those that are ordained no, ‘we will certainly talk about it again, I believe it is a question of fairness. And I'm not saying this because I'm aiming for a third term. I say this as a citizen, because I believe it is an objective injustice'.
