Rome, May 2 (LaPresse) – "We take note with interest of the initiatives of the Bar Association of Milan regarding the collection and use of information and evaluations on the work of judges." This was stated by the president of the ANM, Cesare Parodi, who, when asked by LaPresse about the platform created by the Bar Association of Milan for reporting on judges, added: "I want to clarify that the judiciary, both collectively and individually, has no fear of this initiative, which fits into an already existing regulatory framework in the system. I am absolutely confident that judges will continue their work without any fear. What can be concerning is the potential instrumental use of such forms of communication that, in some way, do not allow for immediate interaction with the parties, an immediate clarification, and an accurate and detailed understanding of what the charges or criticisms being made are. We do not fear criticism, but we want to be in a position to argue in a timely and effective manner about what is being charged against us. Unfortunately, the current climate does not allow us to rule out that this initiative, aimed at ensuring democratic transparency in the evaluation of our work, could be used, on the contrary, for purposes aimed at further distorting the image of the judiciary."
