Rome, 9 May (LaPresse) – "We are the only continent in the world where there is no death penalty. This should not be forgotten because when we defend Ukraine, it is not a question of friendship, we are defending a principle that no one can think – just because they have more soldiers or are richer – they can invade another country. In short, in this case, Europe is defending international law and defending freedom." These were the words of Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of a FI event to present Rome's bid to become European Capital of Culture.
