Milan, May 16 (LaPresse) – “What happened in the chat group of a group of students in Bassano del Grappa is deeply disheartening and shows a high degree of immaturity and insensitivity. The school will take appropriate measures not only to sanction such serious behavior but also to promote a culture of respect,” said Education and Merit Minister Giuseppe Valditara, commenting on the shocking poll shared in a school chat in Bassano del Grappa asking which of Giulia Tramontano, Mariella Anastasi, and Giulia Cecchettin "deserved" to be killed more.

“I would like to remind everyone that the new Civic Education Guidelines now include, for the first time, education in respect—especially toward women—as a learning objective that must be taught and evaluated. The new Guidelines also introduce new teaching methods (including peer tutoring), which we believe can be particularly effective in fostering maturity and awareness among young people, and in educating them toward respectful and positive relationships. In this context, Indire has been tasked with training teachers in best practices on what we consider a crucial issue,” the minister concluded.
