Rome, 19 May (LaPresse) – According to reports, the Council of Ministers, which has just concluded at Palazzo Chigi, has decided to challenge the law of the Autonomous Province of Trento on the third term before the Constitutional Court. The decision came after a debate among ministers during the meeting, with the Lega voting against it. ‘We consider this an act against Trentino,’ said the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti. ‘In the coming days, we will evaluate what to do.’ ‘The Lega ministers present voted against it and tried to defend the prerogatives of our territory.’ When asked if this could lead to a crisis, the Lega president replied, ‘I do not deal with national issues; this is not a matter for me’. The president of the PD senators, Francesco Boccia, is certain: ‘Today, the Council of Ministers has confirmed the crisis of this majority, with the League voting against the government's decision to challenge the law for the autonomous province of Trento on the third term.’
