Rome, 31 May (LaPresse) – ‘The threats made on social media against the children of Meloni and Piantedosi are appalling and unacceptable. We stand in solidarity with them for the intimidation they have received. Political debate and criticism must never, in a democratic and civilised country, descend into hatred and threats, or intimidation of individuals or their families.’ This was stated in a note by PD secretary Elly Schlein.
