On the day of your celebration, while I salute the Flag, I send my first thoughts to the memory of the fallen sailors who, with the sacrifice of their lives, have shown their dedication to the Fatherland.”
Thus said the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, in a message sent on the occasion of the Navy Day to the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Squadron Admiral Enrico Credendino.
