Luxembourg, 11 June (LaPresse) – According to reports from Luxembourg, during this morning's talks with Prime Minister Luc Frieden and President of the Chamber of Deputies Claude Wiseler, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, described the situation in Gaza as ‘unacceptable’ and reiterated his closeness to both the Palestinians and Israel. It was emphasised that we must work towards a two-state solution for two peoples, which seems unattainable at present, but is the only solution capable of offering a future for both the Palestinians and the security of Israel.
