Rome, June 11 (LaPresse) – "The meeting of the League’s federal council began with a focus on the tax amnesty proposal. Matteo Salvini clarified that this is not an alternative to other proposals made by coalition partners, but rather a 'complementary' measure," the League said in a statement.
The party leader explained that the goal is to have the bill approved in committee by the summer and implemented through the Budget Law starting in early 2026.
“This is about saving the lives of millions of Italians who have faced difficulties and could repay their debts over ten years, returning to work and meeting their obligations,” Salvini stated during the meeting at Montecitorio.
